FAQ

How can I obtain funding through BOLD FUND?

To obtain funding through Bold Fund, you need to successfully complete our proprietary two-step evaluation challenge designed to find successful and talented traders and help them address funding issues. If you successfully pass the two-step evaluation process and prove that you are a successful trader, you can risk our capital.

Stage 1: This is the first step in your training. Prove your trading skills by achieving a profit target of 8% without violating any rules and move on to Stage 2.

Stage 2: By meeting the trading goals of this stage and achieving a profit target of 4%, you prove that you are a consistent and disciplined trader. Once the trader’s results are verified, they move on to the third stage.

Stage 3: “Bold Fund Trader” – You have proven that you have mastered your trading skills, and you will be offered to trade with our capital on the best terms in the market.

How long does it take to obtain funding?

There is no minimum number of trading days for stages 1 and 2. However, once you achieve the profit target for stage 1, you will have to wait 24 hours before you can proceed to stage 2. This is not always an automatic process. We don’t want our traders to rush through the evaluation and miss important details.

After you achieve the stage 2 target, your entire evaluation period will be manually reviewed by our risk management team. The review process will be completed within 5 business days.

After the review, you will undergo a process known as KYC or “Know Your Customer.” This process includes verifying your documents, confirming your identity with a selfie, and confirming your address.

Once our partner approves your KYC check, we will prepare a client agreement for you. We will send you this agreement, and you will be able to sign it digitally. This process is automated and occurs instantly after KYC approval.

Next, we will automatically create your primary account. The final step is connecting your account to our risk management system. This step is necessary for us so that your trades are copied. Once we connect your account to our risk management system, you will receive an email notification that your primary account is ready for trading. This will be done within 5 business days.

In summary, you can start trading on your Bold Fund account in as little as 7 business days.

How long can I be inactive on my trading account?

If any trading account remains inactive for 30 days, it will be automatically locked.

How does the payout system for accounts work?

The trader has the right to request a payout every 15th or 30th day (of their choice) after the first trade on a funded account. An 80% profit share will be given to the trader, and 20% to the company.

The minimum payout amount is 1% of the initial balance, including our share.

The trader will remain on the same account, so partial payouts are also possible.

The company has the right to increase the funded account and the trader’s profit percentage in case of consistently successful trading.

Are there any active promotions and discounts?

DISCOUNTS: You are eligible for a significant discount, and we provide the following discounts if you:

  • Fail Stage 1: get a 5% discount.
  • Fail Stage 2: get a 10% discount.
  • Fail Stage 3: get a 15% discount.

You will receive a notification and the corresponding discount in your Bold Fund account.

Note. The discount is valid for 7 days and applies to all account sizes.

PROMOTIONS: Bold Fund continuously runs promotions, making it the most profitable and attractive company in the market.

You can find the terms for ongoing and temporary promotions on the company’s official website boldfund.io

BONUSES AND BONUS ACCOUNTS: Bond Fund is constantly developing and reserves the right to give Bonuses and Bonus accounts to traders within the framework of events and other events. This applies to challenges and Bold Fund accounts.

It is important that the trading conditions for bonuses and bonus accounts differ from the usual ones and are often more stringent, since the company assumes more risk. You can familiarize yourself with them inside the office.

What happens if I fail to meet a trading goal?

If you fail to meet any trading goal, all your open trades will be closed, your limit and stop orders will be canceled, and the account will switch to view-only mode. We will notify you by email if we detect a trading goal violation.

Who can join Bold Fund?

We provide our services to all talented traders who are at least 18 years old and can prove their profitability.

Can I sign up for multiple challenges?

Yes, you can sign up for multiple challenges, but the total funded capital cannot exceed 300,000 USD. You need to pass each challenge individually; you cannot copy trades (EA or manually) from the primary account to the evaluation account or from one evaluation account to another evaluation account to execute them simultaneously with the same trades and trading ideas.

Primary/accumulated accounts can be combined into one account or kept separately after the evaluation procedure, depending on your preference. To combine primary/accumulated accounts into one, you must send an email to [email protected] or open a request through customer support so the team can merge the accounts.

How do I request a payout?

In your personal dashboard on our website, you can see the “Payouts” menu. By completing this form, you can request a payout. After you complete this form, the connected trading account will be switched to view-only mode until the payout is processed, so all trades must be closed. The minimum payout amount is 1% of the initial balance, including our share. Payouts are processed within 5 business days.

How can slippage occur? “News”

Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade was executed. This can occur during volatile moments, such as important news affecting the currency retrospectively. This is something we cannot control. Manage your risk wisely if you hold trades during such times.

Each evaluation and trading account must be traded individually.

You must trade each account individually. You cannot copy trades (expert or manual) from one trading account to another, from a main account to another main account, from a main account to an evaluation account, or from one evaluation to another, to transmit them simultaneously with the same trades and trading ideas.

When will I breach the maximum loss limit?

The maximum loss limit is the amount below which your capital or balance cannot fall. This rule is set as a percentage of each model based on the initial account size. For example, if you have an account of USD 100,000 with a two-step model and the maximum loss limit is 10%, your capital or balance cannot drop below USD 90,000 at any point.

Example:

You have chosen an account of USD 100,000. The maximum loss limit is 10% of the initial balance, which in this example is USD 100,000, a two-step model:

Maximum loss = USD 100,000 * 10% = Maximum loss limit USD 10,000.

This means your capital/balance cannot fall below USD 100,000 – 10,000. Maximum loss limit = USD 90,000.

If at any specific point your capital/balance drops below USD 90,000, your account will be closed.

When will I breach the daily loss limit?

The maximum daily loss is the amount you are allowed to lose daily. This rule will use the higher value between equity and balance. This rule is set as a percentage of the starting capital or balance of each day. The rule states that the day’s capital, which is the result of the current floating PnL (profit and loss) summed with all closed positions of that day, must not reach the maximum daily loss limit. The daily maximum loss resets at 00:00 each day.

Example 1:

Equity exceeds balance at the start of the day.

At the beginning of day five, your account balance is USD 105,000, and your equity is USD 107,000. The daily loss limit is 5% of equity, as it is higher:

Daily loss = USD 107,000 * 5% = daily loss limit USD 5,350.

This means your equity cannot fall below USD 107,000 – 5,350. Daily loss limit = USD 101,650 on day 5.

If at any moment on the fifth day your equity falls below USD 101,650, your account will be closed.

Example 2:

Balance exceeds equity at the start of the day.

At the beginning of day seven, your account balance is USD 100,000, and your equity is USD 99,000. The daily loss limit is 5% of the balance, as it is higher:

Daily limit = USD 100,000 * 5% = daily loss limit USD 5,000.

This means your equity cannot fall below USD 100,000 – 5,000. Daily loss limit = USD 95,000 on day 7.

If at any moment on the seventh day your equity falls below USD 95,000, your account will be closed.

What is the procedure for making a payment using cryptocurrency

When initiating a payment, it is extremely important to carefully select the appropriate network to ensure a successful transaction. It is extremely important to choose a network that corresponds to the specific cryptocurrency used. For example, if the USDT TRC20 cryptocurrency is selected, it is important to make sure that the Tron network (TRC20) is selected in your crypto wallet when sending.

In the event that the wrong network is selected for a cryptocurrency payment, we cannot be responsible for any potential loss of funds. Before proceeding with the payment, you must carefully review and confirm the selected network.

In situations where the payment processing time exceeds the estimated deadline, we ask you to be patient. Delays in cryptocurrency transactions may occur due to network congestion. If there are any problems, we recommend checking the transaction status through the blockchain browser or contacting our support team by email [email protected]

Is the funded/main account an active or demo account?

A savings account is a demo account.

The Bold Fund account is a demo account with real market quotes. We copy the main accounts using our internal risk management system.

We decided to use this framework to make the processes more efficient and make the compliance process easier for our traders.

What are the prohibited strategies?

Trade the way you want. Use the “adviser”, hold during the news, hold trades on weekends and trade lots as large as leverage allows, as long as this is not the case: gap trading, high-frequency trading, spam on servers, delayed arbitrage, toxic trading, hedging, long short arbitrage, reverse arbitrage tick scalping, server execution, trading on opposite accounts — all this is prohibited. In addition, copy trading or account management by a third-party provider is prohibited. Such actions with Bold Fund will lead to the closure of the account. Keep in mind that using a third-party advisor is allowed if it is a trading or risk manager. The use of any other third-party advisors is not allowed. This will result in a denial of assessment or payment and closure of the account.

Note: We are looking for unique traders and strategies. We do not recommend using ready-made Expert Advisors (EA), unless it is a risk manager or a trading manager, because if we find similar transactions on another trading account, this will lead to a violation.
